Registration
Registering your dogs grants you the opportunity to be involved in all manners of competitions, trials, and testing that the SIKC offers as well as granting you with official documents that acknowledge that your dog adheres to the breed standard.

Fees for Registration -
Adult or Foundation Dogs : 100$ (SIKC)
First two dogs may be registered at the old price of 75$ each (SIKC) if you've registered no Shepherds prior to your Intro Post if it was posted after 01 Jan. 2020.
Litters : 80$ (SIKC)
First litter may be registered at the old price if you've registered no litters prior to your Intro Post if it was posted after 01 Jan. 2020.
Registration Requirements

Please make sure that you've read the full standard for the German Shepherd Dog and have followed it as closely as possible when creating your dog.

Dogs MUST be in-standard as far as you're capable of given the game's restrictions.

Please be sure that you're aware of the various lines that make up this breed and create your dog accordingly. Be aware that you'll be graded lowly in Conformation if you use an incorrect stack or gait for the line. Not all GSD's stack or move like a typical American Show Line dog!

The only off-standard dogs that will be registered are those with coat defects ie. White or Panda coated GSDs. These dogs will NOT be permitted to enter officially held SIKC conformation shows unless it's specifically stated in the shows description but ARE free to compete in testing and trials.

You are required to include editing and reshade free evluations of your dog, either in stack or out of it. These images must include the front, right, and left side of the dog.

Please do NOT use the Adult/Puppy registration form for Litters.

Only kennels with active GSD's who are actively competing or intending to breed them will be added to the kennel registry.

You MUST have an SIKC profile! IG or Tumblr only kennels or dogs will NOT be registered.
Instagram // Tumblr Only Kennels
Our job is to maintain the registry for the SIKC, as such, we do not feel that registering dogs from Instagram or Tumblr only kennels/breeders is necessary and in accordance with the SIKC's preference for their currency not being used for IG/Tumblr we will not be accepting registration fees from those who have empty accounts there with no intention to actually participate in the SIKC.
Standards
The German Shepherd Dog is a strong, agile, well-muscled animal, alert and full of life. It is well balanced, with harmonious development of the forequarter and hindquarter. The dog is longer than tall, deep-bodied, and presents an outline of smooth curves rather than angles. It looks substantial and not spindly, giving the impression, both at rest and in motion, of muscular fitness and nimbleness without any look of clumsiness or soft living. The ideal dog is stamped with a look of quality and nobility--difficult to define, but unmistakable when present. Secondary sex characteristics are strongly marked, and every animal gives a definite impression of masculinity or femininity, according to its sex.
Various Lines
As a versatile utility dog, the German Shepherd Dog breed is made up of several different lines that have their own origin, history and unique traits.
These different lines, although all of them are still German Shepherd dogs, can be better suited for different purposes and roles. Each type is valued and respected for what it brings to the breed.
